Before making a purchase please understand the following:
- We provide a standard VW 36 and 40 PIN main plug and play harness.
- This fits 90% of VW cars.
- If during installation you find you need a different pin please reach out to us and we will post the new set of plugs to you if we have them.
- If your car has a factory head unit you can find out what pin set is needed on the internet or,
- You can also remove your head unit and count the pins or send us an image of the plugs in the back of the head unit:
- These units are only designed for the base model
- Above we have outlined which cars this unit fits - however the pin offset may be different for some.
Please note: In some VW models, the CANBUS system may require bypassing, which could involve minor cable modifications. Since most VW vehicles don't support aftermarket CANBUS installations, you may need to adjust the wiring slightly. For further details or assistance, please get in touch with us.
